ABOUT OUR HOT PILATES for Active Lifestyles Class

Serving the Greater San Diego County Including Del Mar, Poway, Fairbanks Ranch, Ramona & Beyond

Hot Pilates for Active Lifestyles at SALTVAULT of Del Mar is designed for guests who want a class tailored to their daily activity level. We welcome runners, hikers, surfers, weekend warriors, and anyone who stays active and wants a studio practice to match their activity.

Props such as resistance bands, light weights, Pilates balls, and the magic circle may be incorporated to add challenge and variety. Instructors offer clear cues and movement options so guests can adjust intensity to fit their current training cycle.

The Process

Class opens with a warm-up sequence to activate key muscle groups and prepare the body for heat-supported movement. From there, sequences build through core work, lower-body stability, upper-body engagement, and full-body coordination.

Class closes with controlled stretching and recovery-focused movement, giving active individuals a dedicated window to release tension and support mobility.

Improve Relaxation & Circulation

Infrared heat, combined with Pilates movement, supports circulation and helps reduce the muscle tightness that active individuals carry between workouts. Many guests notice improved range of motion and less post-activity stiffness after adding regular classes to their routine.

Steady breathwork throughout class also supports nervous system recovery, helping guests leave feeling physically restored and mentally clear.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this class a good fit for runners and cyclists?

Yes. Hot Pilates targets the hips, core, and stabilizing muscles runners and cyclists rely on most, while the low-impact format gives joints a break from repetitive high-impact training.

How hot is the studio during class?

The studio is heated to between 95 and 105 degrees using infrared technology, which warms the body directly and creates a consistent environment for movement.

What should I bring to class?

Guests should bring a mat, towel, and water. Breathable athletic clothing is recommended due to the heated environment.

How often should active individuals take Hot Pilates?

Most active guests attend two to three times per week, fitting classes around their existing training schedule and recovery needs.

Do I need Pilates experience before attending?

No prior experience is required. Instructors guide guests through each sequence with clear cues and options to modify movements as needed.
