What to Expect
SAVOR at SALTVAULT of Del Mar is a high-energy, heated Pilates class that blends mat-based strength with faster-paced, interval-style movement. This class is designed for guests who enjoy dynamic workouts that elevate the heart rate while still maintaining Pilates-based control and alignment.
Each 50-minute class moves with intention and momentum. Guests flow through sequences that challenge endurance, coordination, and full-body strength while working in a heated environment. SAVOR offers a powerful balance of strength and cardio without sacrificing form.
Infrared
SAVOR classes take place in an infrared-heated studio, typically ranging between 95–105 degrees. Infrared heat warms the body evenly, helping muscles stay engaged and responsive throughout faster transitions and repeated efforts.
The steady warmth supports circulation and encourages sustained movement, allowing guests to maintain intensity while reducing stiffness. Many guests find the infrared heat helps them stay loose and focused during high-energy sequences.
Hot Pilates
While SAVOR is rooted in mat Pilates, it introduces interval-based pacing to increase intensity. Movements alternate between strength-focused sequences and faster, more dynamic exercises that challenge both muscular endurance and cardiovascular output.
Guests can expect full-body engagement with an emphasis on legs, glutes, core, and upper body. The Pilates foundation keeps movements controlled and low-impact, even as the pace increases.
Musically-driven
Music plays a central role in SAVOR classes. Upbeat, driving playlists help set the tempo and guide transitions between intervals. The rhythm supports motivation and keeps energy high from start to finish.
Music-driven pacing keeps guests present in the workout while maintaining flow. The consistent beat helps support timing, effort, and recovery throughout class.
ABOUT OUR SAVOR CLASS
Serving the Greater San Diego County Including Del Mar, Poway, Fairbanks Ranch, Ramona & Beyond
SAVOR at SALTVAULT of Del Mar is ideal for guests who enjoy a sweat-forward workout with variety and movement. This class blends Pilates fundamentals with athletic-style conditioning for a challenging and engaging experience.
Props such as weights, resistance bands, Pilates balls, and the magic circle may be used to increase resistance and add variety. Instructors provide clear cues and options to help guests adjust intensity as needed.
The Process
Class begins with a warm-up that prepares the body for movement and heat. Sequences then progress into alternating strength and cardio-focused intervals designed to keep the body moving and engaged.
Each section builds upon the previous one, allowing guests to develop momentum while maintaining control. Class concludes with slower movements and stretching to support recovery after higher-intensity work.
Improve Relaxation & Circulation
Although SAVOR emphasizes energy and intensity, infrared heat still supports circulation and recovery. Increased blood flow helps muscles stay warm and responsive, and encourages flexibility after class.
Controlled breathing throughout class helps guests manage effort and remain focused, supporting both physical performance and post-workout relaxation.
