What to Expect
Pilates Instructor Training at SALTVAULT of Little Italy introduces future teachers to classical mat Pilates in a musically driven, infrared-heated studio. SALTVAULT offers a nationally accredited classical mat Pilates teacher-training program for movement professionals and passionate students.
Training covers Pilates foundations, anatomy, and teaching methodology. Students build the skills to guide a room with clarity, precision, and confidence.
Infrared
Infrared heat warms the body directly, from the inside out. Heated SALTVAULT classes run between 95 and 105 degrees, which supports circulation and helps muscles loosen. Teachers who understand the heat can pace a class and keep clients moving with control.
Hot Pilates
Hot Pilates at SALTVAULT blends contemporary and classical mat work with purposeful props. Heat increases time under tension, while movement remains low-impact and joint-friendly. Strong instructors adjust the intensity so that every client maintains proper form.
Musically-driven
Music drives every SALTVAULT class. Playlists set tempo, build intensity, and guide transitions. Teaching to a beat takes timing, so instructors match cues to rhythm and keep the room together from the first move to the last.

The Process
Training covers three connected areas: Pilates foundations, anatomy, and teaching methodology. Foundations establish the method. Anatomy explains the body performing it. Teaching methodology turns knowledge into clear instruction.
A SALTVAULT class opens with a warm-up, moves through structured Pilates sequences, and closes with stretching for balance and recovery. Teachers learn from the arc of each class.
Improve Relaxation & Circulation
Infrared heat, breath-focused movement, and controlled Pilates exercises help improve circulation while supporting relaxation after intense work. Many participants notice less stiffness and better flexibility after class.
Breath, centering, concentration, control, flow, and precision shape every SALTVAULT class. Teachers who feel those effects themselves can describe them to clients with honesty.
