What to Expect
SAVOR at SALTVAULT of Pacific Beach is a high-energy, mat-based Pilates class held in a heated studio, typically between 95–105°. This class blends Pilates principles with interval-style training to create a cardio-focused experience that emphasizes endurance, strength, and total-body conditioning.
Expect faster pacing than traditional Pilates, with purposeful transitions and repeated intervals that elevate heart rate while remaining low-impact. SAVOR is designed for guests who want a more athletic workout while maintaining control, alignment, and breath awareness.
Infrared
SAVOR uses infrared heat to support circulation and efficient muscle activation during higher-energy movement. The consistent warmth helps the body stay responsive throughout class, allowing participants to maintain intensity without excessive strain.
Infrared heat also supports flexibility and comfort, which is especially important during repeated intervals and sustained effort. The environment helps participants move with stability while keeping muscles warm and engaged.
Hot Pilates
SAVOR is a heated Pilates class with a HIIT-inspired structure. While the pace is faster, movements remain rooted in Pilates fundamentals and low-impact technique.
The class challenges cardiovascular endurance alongside strength by combining dynamic mat work with controlled intervals. The heat intensifies muscular demand without relying on jumping or impact, making SAVOR effective and joint-friendly.
Musically-driven
Music plays a central role in the SAVOR experience at SALTVAULT. Each class is musically driven, with playlists selected to guide tempo, pacing, and transitions.
The rhythm of the music supports momentum and helps structure interval timing, allowing participants to stay focused and engaged as intensity builds throughout the workout.
ABOUT OUR SAVOR CLASS
Serving the Greater San Diego County Including Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla, La Mesa & Beyond
SAVOR is designed for guests who want a more athletic, cardio-forward Pilates experience. The class combines strength-based mat work with interval-style sequencing to challenge endurance while maintaining alignment and control.
Props such as light weights, resistance bands, and exercise balls may be used to increase resistance and support varied movement patterns. SAVOR is ideal for guests with some Pilates or general fitness experience.
The Process
Each SAVOR class begins with a structured warm-up to prepare the body for movement in the heated studio. Participants then move through a series of interval-based Pilates sequences that target the core, legs, glutes, arms, and stabilizing muscles.
Instructors provide clear cues and pacing guidance throughout class, emphasizing efficient transitions and steady breath. The class concludes with focused movements and stretching to support balance, recovery, and circulation.
Improve Relaxation & Circulation
Although SAVOR is cardio-driven, the combination of infrared heat and controlled movement supports circulation and post-class recovery. Many participants experience reduced stiffness and improved mobility after class.
The steady warmth helps muscles remain engaged without tightening, supporting both performance and relaxation.
"I took the SAVOR class through ClassPass with Jamie and I really enjoyed how challenging it was. I sweat out everything, worked my muscles to exhaustion, and left feeling lighter and more limber."
