SPICE at SALTVAULT is your heated mat Pilates class with a little extra bite. The room is warmed to roughly 95–105°, the music stays loud, and the sequencing leans into intermediate-to-advanced mat work that lights up your core fast. You’ll move through controlled Pilates patterns designed to build strength, improve stability, and push endurance, all while working up a detoxifying sweat that leaves you feeling lighter and more energized.
This isn’t a slow stretch session. Expect focused pacing, stronger holds, and flows that ask you to stay present. You’ll feel it in your abs, glutes, thighs, and those sneaky stabilizer muscles you didn’t know you had until they started complaining.
Infrared
SPICE is powered by infrared heat, which helps warm the body efficiently and keeps the studio heat feeling more consistent. That warmth supports mobility and can make it easier to settle into deeper ranges of motion while still maintaining control and alignment.
Hot Pilates
SPICE is a heated mat Pilates with a strength-forward edge. You’ll work classic Pilates fundamentals with a more intense feel thanks to the heat and the way the class is programmed. Props are often introduced to level up the challenge, including light weights, resistance bands, exercise balls, and the magic circle. The goal is lean strength and full-body control, not random chaos.
Musically-driven
At SALTVAULT, SPICE is musically driven, meaning the beat helps guide the energy of the room. The playlist supports momentum, transitions, and timing, making the class feel immersive and motivating instead of repetitive. You’ll still move with precision, but the music keeps the work moving and the vibe high.

Instructors cue form and breathing throughout class and offer options so you can modify when you need to, or push harder when you’re ready.
The Process
SPICE typically begins with a warm-up that connects breath to movement and prepares the core. From there, you’ll move into structured sequences that blend controlled repetitions, stronger holds, and rhythmic transitions. Props may be layered in to increase resistance or challenge balance. The class finishes with a focused burn and recovery-based stretching to help you leave feeling worked, not wrecked.
Improve Relaxation & Circulation
The heat and movement in SPICE can support circulation while helping reduce physical tension. Many people notice improved flexibility through the hips and spine, a stronger connection to the core, and an overall “reset” feeling after class. It’s a workout that builds strength while helping the mind quiet down.
